Does Kylian Mbappé Have a Dog? The Truth Is Weirder Than You Think (🐼)

🏷️ Dog-curiosities

Let’s be honest. Kylian Mbappé has everything: World Cup trophies, a massive contract with Real Madrid, superstar status, and speed that defies physics.

Naturally, the internet assumes he must have the ultimate celebrity accessory waiting for him at home: a fluffy Golden Retriever, a tough Cane Corso, or maybe a tiny designer Doodle named “Golazo.”

You’ve probably searched for it. You’ve seen sketchy YouTube videos titled “Kylian Mbappé’s DOG Revealed!” or Reddit threads asking what breed he has.

Well, we did the digging to solve the mystery once and for all. And the answer is not what you expect.

The Great Mbappé Dog Hunt: A Failure

The short answer is: No. Kylian Mbappé does not officially own a dog.

Unlike Lionel Messi’s giant Dogue de Bordeaux (Hulk) or Cristiano Ronaldo’s pack of pups, Mbappé’s home life seems surprisingly pet-free. There are no paparazzi photos of him walking a pooch in Paris or Madrid, and his Instagram is strictly football, fashion, and trophies.

So, why the confusion?

If you search online, you’ll find tons of dogs named “Mbappé.” It’s a super popular name for fast dogs right now! But just because a dog is named after him, doesn’t mean it belongs to him. The internet has confused the thousands of canine fans with the man himself.

The Twist: His “Pets” Are 200kg Bamboo Eaters 🐼

Here is where the story gets good. Just because he doesn’t have a dog doesn’t mean he isn’t involved in the animal kingdom in the most bizarrely official way possible.

In 2021, Kylian Mbappé became the official “Godfather” to two twin Pandas born at the ZooParc de Beauval in France.

Yes, Pandas.

Their names are Yuandudu and Huanlili. It was a huge ceremony. He even gave a speech about protecting biodiversity while standing next to two baby bears that look like living plush toys.

So, if you ask him about his “pets,” he won’t show you a picture of a Labrador on his couch; he’ll point to two endangered species munching bamboo in a French zoo. That is undeniably a bigger flex than having a Frenchie.

Fun Fact: It gets weirder. In Argentina, a champion 920kg Bull was named “Mbappé” by its owners. So technically, there are huge bovines running around with his name, too.

Will Real Madrid Peer Pressure Change Things?

Now that Mbappé has moved to Real Madrid, things might change. The Real Madrid locker room is famously dog-obsessed.

When everyone is talking about dog walkers and vet visits before training, how long until Kylian caves to the peer pressure?

Our prediction: Give it a year in Madrid. If he does get a dog, it will break the internet. Until then, we’ll just have to appreciate his godfather duties to Yuandudu and Huanlili the pandas.
